The IBM 3900 OW1 Advanced Function Printer is attached to the IBM 7060 Enterprise Server and is driven by OS/390 (MVS). (It can be accessed through MVS by other systems on the network.) The 3900 printer has a throughput of 229 pages per minute and has a resolution of 240 dots per inch.

The 3900 went into service in January 2002, replacing the IBM 3800.
