Photo of Singletary Center for the Arts (if available)

The Singletary Center for the Arts is located at the corner of Rose Street and Euclid Avenue. Opened in 1979, it includes a concert hall, a smaller recital hall, and the Art Museum.

The Singletary Center was named to honor Otis A. Singletary, former president of the University. It was built on part of the site of McLean Stadium, which was razed in the 1970s.
